I feel it is important for independents to work together because the corporations have many investors that are keeping the chains going.

Welcome to Dining Alliance Atlanta

Dining Alliance Atlanta has been very busy bringing on three new programs and growing the membership.  We are pleased to announce that we now have over 230 members and continue to grow.  Our list of approved programs has also grown to include the new Disposables Program with Southeastern Paper Group, the Broadline Program with Performance Food Group and a new Center of the Plate Program with Halperns'.

In our last newsletter, we announced our produce partnership with Phoenix Produce.  In just the first quarter of 2010, that partnership collectively saved members over $150,000.  If you are not currently on this program or any of our other new programs, be sure to contact Greg Maddock to have a cost saving analysis done.  You can reach Greg at 678-438-4931.

A big "Welcome" to our newest board member, Josh Sagarin of Front Page News.  Josh was excited to work with our well respected board of advisors, particularly with Rich Chey of Home Grown Restaurant Concepts.  "If Rich Chey is in, so am I.  How do I get more involved?" asked Josh.
