The large group of dedicated members has made it one of our most successful cities.
The Pittsburgh Market of Dining Alliance was started over 7 years ago. It has over a dozen program options for restaurant owners to choose from. We are always looking for good new members and ways to save them money consistently using both a face-to-face approach along with the latest in technology.
This year we handed out over $100,000 in rebate money to members. This is up from last year, approximately 35%, due to the increase in participating members and the fact that our members are making small beneficial changes in their buying habits and purchasing more products that are eligible for a rebate and savings.
Many of our members have taken advantage of our Disposable Program with Joshen Paper. It has proven successful, saving our members money while receiving top-quality disposable products. We also have a proven strong Produce supplier with Monteverdes and our members are seeing consistent pricing and service with our many grower-shipper contracts. We look forward to many more ways to show that the Dining Alliance and its leveraged programs can help you and your restaurants to save money and, in turn, be more profitable.
