Who are the owners of independent restaurants?

• First and foremost, our owners are Independent! They don’t set out to be standardized or chain-like. Their individuality is central to who they are.
• Our local owners live, work and spend the majority of their day working hard right in their own establishment. They are "hands-on" restaurateurs.
• Our local owners CARE about putting out a great meal. They are part of the local community so every day they face their family, friends and patrons. Their concern is each customer’s total satisfaction. They are not sitting in a corporate office, answering only to stockholders. They are answering to people they see every day.
• Our local owners have taken huge financial risks and invest their own valuable time to assure that their restaurant remains a quality organization not only for their patrons but for the many men and women that they employ.
• Our owners come from different backgrounds, different ethnic groups and have their own unique stories to tell. Yet they have much in common. They are invested in the same community. As that community flourishes, everyone works together and prospers together.
